In 1939 and 1964, the famous Flushing Meadows-Corona Park – located in Queens, New York – hosted two international exhibitions.  Once the 1964 exhibition was completed, most of the buildings and pavilions were dismantled, but some of them still remain! The most famous is the huge Unisphere, a steel globe high 12 floors! Nearby is the New York State Pavilion, a UFO-shaped structure with 3 observation towers.
